Types of action

An action type and an action type are assigned to each agent ledger entry / activity entry; the same applies to tasks. For example, the action type can be “Telephone” and the action type “Incoming telephone call”. To make it easier for you to distinguish the entries in the agent’s log, it is possible to assign different colors to the different types. It is also possible to allocate average costs. This can be used, for example, to charge €25 for sending an brochure. The costs will be added later when listing the agent’s log entries under the “Legend” item. In addition, a duration of the action can be entered manually in the activities. The duration of appointments and phone calls is automatically recorded via the app and the phone module.

Types of action

You can view the list of action types via the menu Extras >> Settings >> Administration >> Action types >> Edit from tab: Types of Action.

You can use the order of the entries to define the order in the selection list for the action types in the activities. You can also deactivate/activate entries, add your own action types or change the default value.

Depending on the type of action, NOT ALL changes are possible:

  • Action types with the “System value” characteristic cannot be renamed.
  • Action types with the characteristic “System value, only assigned by the system” cannot be renamed or deactivated.

Field filter

You can assign view filters for the individual action types. These can only be set for groups if the group module is active.

Action types

There can be different action types for the individual action types. You can display and change these. To do this, please select “Action types” in the “Edit from” field and the desired action type, e.g. telephone call, in the new “Action type” field.

In the list of action types, you can now change the order, specify the default value, deactivate / activate action types, enter costs and determine the behavior for property tracking and assign a characteristic. Under “Color”, you can assign different colors for better visual differentiation of the action types. The entries are then displayed in the activities or in the agent’s log according to their color.

You can also add and delete your own action types.

Depending on the characteristics of the action type and the individual action type, NOT ALL changes are possible:

  • For action types with the characteristic “System value, only assigned by the system”, you cannot add any further action types.
  • Action types with the characteristic “System value, only assigned by the system” cannot be renamed or deactivated.

Tasks and deadlines

Tasks and appointments are also partly a type of action. Custom task or appointment types are created as “action types” for the task or appointment action types. The other settings of the action types are only for the display in the agent’s log or in the activities.

Features

You can assign a self-created characteristic for each action type (click on the edit icon Edit icon ). This allows you to carry out targeted evaluations according to this characteristic in the success cockpit or in the statistics module , for example.

You can give an action type several characteristics. A characteristic can be assigned to several action types across different action types.

You can create the characteristics in the administration as a multiselect according to your requirements.
