Step by step to digital building recording

The WohnScanner app features an intuitive user interface and a clearly structured scanning process. You can record properties independently and efficiently in just a few steps – from installation to ordering the required documents. 

1. Open the “WohnScanner” service from a property in onOffice. Only for the first use: Set a password for the login in the app. The e-mail address for the account is automatically taken from OnOffice CRM.

2. Only for the first use: Download the WohnScanner app from the Appstore by scanning the QR code on the screen.

3. Only for the first use: Establish a connection between the app and OnOffice CRM by logging into the app with the password set in step 1. Then click on “Establish connection” .

4. The property is automatically created for you in the app.
Scan the QR code or navigate directly to the project in the app.

5. Start scanning
Now the scanning process begins. Point your iOS device at the building and follow the instructions in the app. The app guides you step by step through the process so that rooms, levels and details are captured precisely. Important information for optimum results: Read the note carefully before scanning in order to generate a high-quality point cloud. Close the grid gaps as completely as possible. Scan each room individually and then the entire floor or storey. A complete scan of the entire building is possible, but can generate very large files on older iPhone Pro models. Stairs and sloping ceilings are easily detected. For a cubature calculation (BRI), also scan the building from the outside and end the scan in the interior area (e.g. corridor) so that the external wall thicknesses can be determined correctly. 

6. Save & upload scan
After completing the scan, give it a unique name (e.g. “Ground floor – living room” or “1st floor”). First floor – bedroom”). You can upload the scan directly to the cloud or save it locally on your device first. A later upload is possible as soon as a stable internet connection is available. Notice: At least a weak internet connection is required to start the app.

7. Track order & status
Scanning the properties is free of charge. You can conveniently place your order directly in the app or via office.wohnrechner.online. You can use the same access data to log in to the dashboard, view the properties you have created and track the current processing status at any time.
