Efficient correspondence with templates

With templates you can handle your daily correspondence quickly and effectively. Under Edit → Templates / Files you can create and manage templates for emails, letters, forms and brochures centrally.

What templates are available? 

To achieve the best result for your documents, the system distinguishes between different formats:

  • Email & Word: You manage these templates directly in the template management.
    • Notice: Please note that the creation and customization of Word templates and individual Word templates is no longer supported by our support team.
  • PDF letter templates & PDF brochures: These are created in PDFdesigner . However, you will find the finished PDF letter templates based on these designs in the template management.
    • Our recommendation: Preferably use PDF letters. These offer more stable formatting and a more modern look than classic Word documents.
  • PDF form: The basis is a PDF form file prepared outside of onOffice, which is uploaded to onOffice and provided with macros.
  • Interactive brochures: The configuration of the interactive web brochures is explained separately in a separate section .

Notice: The document title is transferred to the generated PDF documents as a metadata and thus fulfills an accessibility criterion.
